This October, I will participate in the Polka Dot Trot-- year four for me!  Polka Dot Trot is the Cancer Care Foundations Signature Event which raises funds to support cancer patients and their families in Newfoundland & Labrador. My team did so well last year, we are hoping to raise $5000 this year! 

I chose to participate in this event in support of my father who had been battling Multiple Myeloma since 2017. He had been diagnosed with Melanoma this year as well. He lost his battle to cancer on July 11th 2024.  I will continue to walk for him in his memory & grow my team each year.
